Today we had a guest from Switzerland, or rather from Khmelnytskyi. Rony Grüter originally from Switzerland, but has fallen in love with Ukraine and its “slavic soul”. Previously, he taught German in Kharkiv, but currently lives in Khmelnytskyi, from where he came to meet us and pass an interview.

Rony wants to become our volunteer for a year, and possibly for a longer period of time, and come to Zdolbuniv. Here he could conduct a German conversation club based in our office and help to establish contacts with organizations in Switzerland for joint projects. Of course, we are interested in youth exchanges and projects in the fields of sports, culture and education.
We are sure that Zdolbuniv gymnasium, where German is taught, will be happy to involve a native German speaker in projects with teachers and pupils.
Rony successfully passed the interview, so we expect him in Zdolbuniv in April. That’s interesting, how many Swiss people lived in Zdolbuniv…
