On June 11 we had a meeting in Ostroh with representatives of the Ostroh City Council.
The meeting was attended by Taras Khmaruk, Secretary of the Ostroh City Council, Roman Svninarchuk, starosta of Mezhyrich village, Vadym Bondarchuk, chairman of the Committee on External Relations and Olga Stesyuk, Head of the Project and Investment Department.
Ostrog is an extremely interesting city, where representatives of different ethnic groups lived together for a long time, so we are very attracted to its multicultural component. At various times, Jews, Czechs, Poles and representatives of various religious communities, including German Mennonites, lived here.
Potential international cooperation and cooperation on the issues of historical multicultural heritage of the Ostroh community were discussed:
✓building a strategy for positioning the community among foreigners;
✓cooperation with twin cities;
✓concept of community bicycle network development;
The idea of creating a modern museum in the Krai.
Thank you for your hospitality, we look forward to the next meeting!
