Vodolaga Development Initiative

Vodolaha is an Amalgamated Community (Novovodolazhska OTG), 40 km south-east of Kharkiv. For many years we have loved this area and have friends among the locals. We try to help them to develop the OTG by developing their human resources.  Our focus is on the village of Stara Vodolaha. What we do:

  • Revitalization of traditions and promotion of awareness of the rich village history
  • Establishing international contacts (France) with ancestors of noble people who lived in the village until the October revolution
  • Supporting the youth of the village in their personal growth (study trip to Transcarpathia)
  • Promoting the idea of eco-tourism, “countryside culture” and regional branding

Our key partner is the NGO Association of Villages of Vodolaha Region.
