In the hectic times of lockdown and New Year’s Eve constancy plays an important role. Every year the Peace Light of Bethlehem arrives in Ukraine and today for the first time it has arrived to our office in the Old Mill, thanks to our friend Father Vitaliy and the Ukrainian scouts.
Note: in Ukraine, since 1999, the Peace Light of Bethlehem, that symbolizes peace, love and kindness, and unites all Ukrainians, has been distributed by Ukrainian Scouts. Every year, for the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, scouts transfer the Light to urban communities, hospitals, schools, orphanages, and state institutions throughout Ukraine. With the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, scouts transfer the Light and Christmas gifts to Ukrainian defenders in the war zone in Eastern Ukraine.
